Are you an experienced production engineer with a passion for advanced technology and complex products? Do you want to contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the defense industry? We are now looking for a production engineer to strengthen our client's team working with underwater robots and other high-tech products.

About the position

In the role of production engineer, you will work with products characterized by low volumes and high complexity. You will be part of a dedicated and skilled team responsible for production technology and preparation of advanced underwater products. Collaboration with functions such as purchasing, production planning, project management, and the development department is an important part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Review and specify design documentation with a focus on manufacturability and testability.
• Specify the need for tools and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
• Create manufacturing preparations and work instructions.
• Provide technical support to assembly personnel during production.
• Train employees in new methods and working practices.
• Follow up and ensure the quality of manufacturing preparations and processes.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with at least 3+ years of experience in production engineering, preferably from working with complex products in electronics. To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Experience in Lean Production and a strong drive for improvement.
• Good ability to handle multiple parallel tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Qualities such as responsibility, flexibility, and a willingness to challenge and improve existing working methods.
